Keynote Speech at North Sea Region Conference

On 24th June 2009, TRI's Gordon Wilmsmeier presented a keynote speech at the North Sea Region Programme Annual Conference 2009, hosted by the Interreg IVb Secretariat.  The presentation was on the topic of sustainable innovation and the associated challenges for maritime transport policy. TRI was representing the Northern Maritime University project, of which it is also the lead partner. The conference was held in Egmond aan Zee/Haarlem, the Netherlands, under the title "Sustainable Innovation". The event focused on the social and environmental dimensions of innovation in the context of transnational cooperation and the European policy framework.
